Christian Berets Inc. was founded in 1970 by Don Crooker as a non-denominational ministry to people with special needs. Whispering Pines Conference and Retreat Center, operated by the Christian Berets, near Mi Wuk Village in the California Sierra Nevada foothill foot, now has 2 lodges on its 35 acres. The lodges provide beds for 90 Summer Camp and guest groups. Organizational contributions, like those of NMCOG, provide scholarships for children with special needs to attend "Camps for Kids" each summer.

Youth With A Mission is an international volunteer movement of Christians from many backgrounds and cultures dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world. Their purpose is simply to know God and to make Him known. When YWAM began in 1960, the focus was giving young people opportunities to demonstrate the love of Jesus to the whole world, but now there are "YWAMers" of almost every age and many of our short-term efforts have grown into long-term endeavors that have impacted lives and nations.

City Crossroads Ministry operates in the South of Market area near the Tenderloin district in San Francisco where drug abuse, alcoholism, homelessness, over-crowded housing, gangs and crimes are everyday problems. It's focus is on the more than 4000 children whose homes are in this area. Learn more

Ben and Kelli Shular, and their two sons, Noah and Jonah, facilitate continued development, planning, and training for Aldersgate Education Center, Safina and Babati Bible School. In addition, Ben manages the Church of God construction projects in central Tanzania. Learn more

Ken & Keli Oldham and their 3 children are serving in the Middle East as pastors of a local congregation. They also serve on the Three Worlds Team which works to raise up a new generation of leaders and create interconnectivity throughout the Middle East and Europe. Learn more

Since 1948 the Modesto Gospel Mission has provided nutritious meals, warm beds, and a place of safety for thousands of poor and homeless men, women, boys and girls. Founded by Mr. John Haine, the Mission's staff remain committed to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and meeting the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of every man, woman, boy and girl who comes to the Mission for help and hope.

Sunday Worship, at 9:15 & 10:45 am, is a time of for the whole family to celebrate in song, prayer, and Bible-centered preaching.

On Wednesday evenings the family gathers in various age appropriate discipleship activities.
